An interactive synesthetic exhibition concepted and curated by me for the Academy of fine arts and Multimedia in Belgrade. It was a research into possibilities of a natural material being an interface and creating a ‘hyper-natural’ environment.
Student illustration were chosen and animated within the Wonder Forest concept. The translucent layers of silk, with content mapped on them, created an immersive mystical environment: you were being in a forest rather than ‘looking at the forest’.
The space reacted to the visitor as an ecosystem reacts to a human…even though humans are less and less aware of it. Through this experience we have retured to a mythical time of the unity between the human and its habitat. Both opening and closing were live session by WDWRM, thus creating unique experiences. The coding and mapping was done by Stanislav Drca.
